LONDON, Sept 24 ― Aston Villa’s France midfielder Boubacar Kamara has suffered a knee ligament injury, the Premier League club said on Friday.
The 22-year-old was injured during the first half of the 1-0 home victory over Southampton on Sept. 16.
Kamara was forced to withdraw from this week’s Uefa Nations League fixtures and has begun a rehabilitation programme.
Villa did not say how long he would be out but Kamara faces a race to be fit for the World Cup which starts on November 20. ― Reuters
